The Project

ECG Site Services is proud to support the City of Austin’s revitalization of Zilker Metropolitan Park by contributing critical infrastructure improvements to the Maintenance Barn Replacement Project, under the direction of Warden Construction. This new facility will relocate and replace the outdated maintenance barn previously located near Barton Springs Pool, enhancing operational efficiency while aligning with the City’s environmental and accessibility goals.

ECG’s team will be responsible for installation and preparation of underground utilities, site development, and foundation support systems including, Domestic Water, Sanitary, Stormwater, Sitework, SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan), Concrete, Split Face and Retaining Wall, and Landscaping.

Networking in Action

Over the past few months, ECG is proud to sponsor events around Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We want to thank Contractors, Closers, and Connections (CCC) Dallas, CCC Fort Worth and NTX Construction and Commercial Real Estate Happy Hour organizer Brian Hunt for these sponsorship opportunities allowing us to talk about the work ECG does as we continue to build our network.

Networking Tips

1. Quality over Quantity:

Focus on making intentional connections rather than trying to meet everyone in the room. Set a goal for who you’d like to connect with, and aim for meaningful conversations that can lead to actionable next steps in building the relationship.

2. Follow Up:

The best time to follow up is within 24–48 hours. A short message that includes something relevant from your conversation, along with information about your business or suggested next steps, helps keep the momentum going.

3. See the Person, Not Just the Role:

Sometimes we get caught up in what the person does so try something different and find out what you both relate to.  Ask about interests or passions outside of work — people remember genuine conversations, and this can lay the foundation for stronger, long-term relationships.
