A Season of Gratitude & Gathering

A Thanksgiving to Remember — Arundel Style
This year, the Arundel Group Holdings family ditched the standard office potluck and leveled up. Thanks to the incredible hospitality of Lia and James, our team gathered at their home for a Thanksgiving lunch that felt more like a family reunion than a work event.
Instead of fluorescent lights and conference-room chatter, we shared great food around a real table, swapped stories, and enjoyed the kind of afternoon that reminds you why teamwork actually works. We played games, laughed way too loudly, and even got surprisingly competitive during Thanksgiving trivia. Our This or That: Thanksgiving Edition sparked conversations about everyone’s favorite holiday traditions — and proved that apparently, there is such a thing as too much sweet potato casserole discourse.
Most importantly, we bonded. Not as departments or job titles, but as people. And in a year marked by major growth across all our companies — ECG Site Services, Arundel Development, Arundel Design Build Contractors, Ellis & Levine Engineering, and Arundel Properties — it was the perfect moment to pause, reconnect, and appreciate the team that keeps this vertically integrated machine running.
Outsmart the End-of-Year Chaos
The final stretch of the year always brings a collision of deadlines, networking events, family gatherings, holiday parties, and the subtle panic of realizing December has approximately seven usable business days.
A few quick tips to help keep your calendar (and your sanity) in check:
1. Prioritize events with purpose.
If it doesn’t support your goals — professionally or personally — it can wait until January. Strategic “no’s” make room for meaningful “yeses.”
2. Time-block holiday commitments.
Treat family traditions, kids’ performances, or travel like real appointments. If it goes on the calendar, it actually happens.
3. Pair networking with enjoyment.
Choose events that offer real value and a great atmosphere. End-of-year mixers and industry gatherings are perfect for closing out relationships strong while staying energized.
4. Leave room to breathe.
December is a marathon in a Santa suit. Build in buffer days, even small ones, to regroup and reset.
5. Plan for January now.
Future-you will thank present-you for mapping out the first two weeks of 2026 before the holiday fog hits.
